Due to the impact of dogmatism on many areas of individual and social life, much research is done focusing on this cognitive construct. However, since that there is no instrument in Iran for assessing Dogmatism, the aim of this study is to prepare Rokeach’s Dogmatism questionnaire and investigate its reliability and validity in Iranian students. Finally, 412 students were selected using multi-stage stratified sampling from Shahid Beheshti University students and completed the Persian version of Rokeach’s Dogmatism Questionnaire along with the Conservative thinking style subscale of Sternberg’s thinking styles Inventory. Data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis by principal component analysis. Analysis showed that the questionnaire is composed of 12 factors having values above 1, which altogether explain 56 percent of its variance. Cronbach’s alpha was 0.75 for whole questionnaire and its correlation with the Conservative thinking style subscale was significantly positive. The results of the present study indicate that this questionnaire is relatively suitable for implementation in the Iranian student community.

Abstract: The detrimental effects of peer rejection during childhood have made research in this area a necessity. The main step in each research is to have a valid and reliable questionnaire for the culture of that society. The main purpose of the present study is to examine the psychometric properties (determination of factor structure, validity, and validity) of the rejection scale of Wiesel, Sarid & Sternberg (2013). The research design is correlation. The statistical population is taken from 6th-grade elementary school students of Kermanshah. The total number of the participants is 311 students which were selected by the random cluster sampling method. Exploratory factor analysis extracts 4 components which were confirmed by first-order confirmatory factor analysis. Second order confirmatory factor analysis showed that these four components can be categorized into one concept. In sum, our peer rejection scale after a little modification showed suitable reliability and validity and can be used among Iranian students.

The aim of this study was to construct and validate the students' multiple contextual intelligence test based on Cheng (2000) model of multidimensional intelligence theory. In this model, the most central type of intelligence, namely learning intelligence, which means the ability to learn and think creatively and critically and optimize the use of bio-physiological abilities, is located in the center and heart of the communication model and five other types of intelligence, namely social and cultural, Economic, political and technical are in interaction with it. The research method is survey and the statistical population of this study includes undergraduate students of public and private universities in Iran in the academic year of 1397-98, from which 200 people were randomly selected in clusters, which after excluding incomplete questionnaires reduced to 161 people. This test was organized into 6 components of learning, social, cultural, economic, political and technical intelligence and in the form of 32 questions. After obtaining the appropriate validity and reliability of this test, the data were analyzed using Amos software. After determining the suitability of the model using the fit indices, the results indicated a weak factor load of 5 questions that were removed from the test and the final form of the test was approved. Other results showed that except for the significant and positive two-way relationship between technical intelligence and political intelligence, the relationship between the other paths was not significant; therefore, different types of intelligence components are contextual and have relative independence from each other.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the Persian version of the FAAQ in people who engaged in weight loss or weight loss maintenance. In this descriptive study, 420 men and women were selected through consecutive sampling. They respond to the FAAQ and the Self-compassion Scale (SCS). To assess the validity of the questionnaire, construct validity (exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis) and convergent validity was used. The reliability of the questionnaire was assessed via internal consistency. Exploratory factor analysis of the FAAQ’s items revealed two factors named willingness and acceptance, but, at the item level, it was different from the original model of the questionnaire. For two extracted factors, Cronbach’s alphas range was 0.73 to 0.74 suggesting satisfying reliability of the Persian version of the FAAQ. Confirmatory factor analysis supported the original two factor model of the questionnaire, and fit indices indicated a good model fit. The convergent validity of the questionnaire was also adequate. The Persian version of the FAAQ has adequate reliability and validity in Iranian society and is a good self-report for research and clinical settings.

Background: No epoch like the present era has been considered the danger of dissolution of the family center and its adverse effects, and in no epoch like this era has human beings ever had this danger and its adverse effects. The most complex relationship is the relationship between a husband and wife, so access to information in this area will be extremely difficult and in some circumstances impossible. Much research has been done to find the most important causes of divorce, but they have yielded different results. For this reason, the vacuum caused by the lack of methods for organizing, displaying, linking and ultimately integrating research is felt. Objectives: The present study aimed at combining quantitative results (meta-analysis) with research on the causes of personality and effective communication in divorce. Method: 36 studies were conducted through Internet search in internal databases and hand search in the Iranian Institute of Science and Technology between 1999 and 1395. Identification and information were analyzed through a comprehensive meta-analysis software (CMA2). Results: The combined effect index of r for personality variables in the fixed model is 0.042 and in the randomized model is 0.08 and for the communication variables in the fixed effects model is 0.034 and in the random effects model, 0.057 which according to Cohen’s criterion, the effect size, In both cases, it was low. However, in examining the size of the effect of separation of personality causes, the variables of doing the wrongdoing, and in the causes of the relationship between lack of attention and love, had a large effect and a positive relationship with the divorce. Due to heterogeneity in studies, modulator analysis was carried out.

ABSTRACTPerformance-based measures have shown some limitations in the assessment of executive functions (EF) and rating scales have been proposed as an alternative. This study examined the psychometric properties of the Persian version of the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function, Second Edition, BRIEF-2 parent - form in students aged 13 to 18 years. Participants were 300 students, 148-girl (49.3%) and 152-boy (51.7%) between 13 and 18 years old (M = 9.15; SD = 1.92). Samples were selected from regions (north, south, east, west and center) in Tehran city. The analysis of the internal structure using confirmatory factor analysis reveals that the model with three indexes (Behavioral, Emotional and Cognitive) and nine scales (Inhibit, Shift, Self-Monitor, Emotional Control, Initiate, Working Memory, Plan/Organize, Organization of Materials and Task-Monitor) showed good fit to the sample. The Cronbach's alpha values for the index scores ranged from.91 to.93, with alpha for the individual scales ranging from.87 to.92. Results showed that Persian version of the BRIEF-2 parent Form demonstrated high internal consistency and test–retest reliability. Convergent validity was obtained for BRI (AVE = 0.52), ERI (AVE = 0.54) and CRI (AVE = 0.58). In addition, composite reliability (CR) was reported for BRI (CR = 0.85), ERI (CR = 0.87) and CRI (CR = 0.83). According to the findings, it can be said that the Persian version of the BRIEF2 scale has the necessary convergent validity and composite reliability. The findings support the factorial validity of the BRIEF-2 scores, suggesting that it is an adequate instrument to evaluate executive functioning reported by parents and caregivers. According to the findings, it can be said that the Iranian version of the BRIEF-2 has good psychometric properties and can be a good tool for use in clinical and research situations.

The objective of the present study was to determine the share of variables with variations in marital intimacy levels. This study is among fundamental studies and in terms of data collection and analysis is a descriptive and correlational study with structural equations modeling method. The statistical population of this study included all married women who referred to Tehran health houses in 2019. For this purpose, 320 women functioned as the sample and finally, considering the potential drops, 350 women were selected as the final sample of the study. The sampling method of this study was multistage cluster sampling. Therefore, of the health houses in Tehran, 10 houses were selected randomly and then, 35 married women were selected from each house and questionnaires were distributed among them. To gather information, Marital Intimacy Questionnaire (MIQ), Scorner and Friedlander Differentiation Scale (1998), Eidelson and Epstein Relationship Beliefs Inventory (RBI), and Sexual Satisfaction and Marital Commitment and Marital Life Quality Scale were used. Also, in order to test the hypotheses, structural equation modeling with PLS was used. The research findings showed that self-differentiation has no direct effect on marital intimacy. Relationship beliefs, sexual satisfaction, marital commitment, and marital life quality have a direct effect on martial intimacy. Marital commitment affects marital intimacy (0/35) that is significant at p>0/01. Also, marital quality affects marital intimacy (0/136) that is significant at p>0/01. Therefore, each variable has an indirect effect (marital and life quality) on marital intimacy.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how to construct algebraic concepts in the third chapter of the 7th grade’s mathematical book, based on the theoretical frameworks of Sfard and Tall. This research is quality type and the content analysis method was used. This study in terms of purpose, is in applied research group and in terms of collecting and controlling variables in non-experimental research group. This chapter consists four sections of numerical patterns, algebraic expressions, numerical value of an algebraic expression, and equation. This study have been investigated how to construct algebraic concepts of variable and algebraic expressions, using the theoretical frameworks of Sfard and Tall. the research findings Indicates that the educational process of algebraic concepts in the book, is being performing in a way that the condensation stage (the second stage in the construction of the concept) has inefficiently been implemented so that quickly passed to the reification stage (the third stage in the construction of the concept), it means that enough time was not spend on and even some time, it overlooked. Also, according to the Gray & Tall theory, the construction of the concept has remained in the procedural stage and has not reached the last stage. Therefore, according to theories of concept construction, there is no structural and conceptual understanding of variables and algebraic expressions.

Method: By using literature review and experts opinion a questionnaire comprising 60 questions was developed. In order to determine comprehensibility, validity and reliability, the questionnaire was completed by 30 students and three of those questions were dropped because of inadequacy. Then 303 students were selected through multiple steps random sampling method and completed 57 items questionnaire. In order to extract the underlying components of the 57-item Positive Orientation to School Questionnaire, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) was used and the data were analyzed using SPSS software. The Kayser-Meier-Oliken index (KMO) was 0.891. This index indicates that sample size is desirable for exploratory factor analysis. Results: Principal components analysis revealed that Positive Orientation to School Questionnaire consists of four factors: school satisfaction, school belonging feeling, academic effort and attitude towards classmates. according to confirmatory factor analysis, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the four components extracted were 0.892, 0.875, 0.646 and 0.552, respectively. With the exception of the fourth component which has a relatively low Cronbach's alpha coefficient due to the low number of items (4 items), the other items have acceptable internal consistency. Conclusion: The Positive Orientation to School Questionnaire is a reliable tool for assessing students' feelings and behaviors toward school.

AbstractThe aim of this study was to design a checklist of pre-number concepts in children aged 5 to 6 years and to examine its psychometric properties. To build this tool, library resources or documentary analysis were used. And the checklist contains 66 questions that have 5 components (classification, alignment, mental retention, geometry, detection of similarities and differences), which introduce pre-number concepts at different levels such as (five senses, memory and observation, Classification, thinking sequence, reasoning and problem solving, color concept, shape, mathematical concepts are prerequisites, environmental concepts related to natural, physical, social environment. This questionnaire was administered online in kindergartens and preschools and the statistical population The parents of the children were 5 to 6 years old and the samples included 100 parents. This checklist had 4 objectives: first, how the concepts before the number in children, second, determining the content and face validity, third, determining the reliability of the checklist, and finally determining the validity of the data. It was performed in SPSS22 software and descriptive index including mean, variance, graph, skew and also inferential statistics were evaluated by exploratory factor analysis and the result was that the checklist was reduced from 66 questions to 42 questions. Cronbach's alpha was about 0.6 and also for the internal consistency of the construct validity questionnaire. Confirmed. The questionnaire was also reviewed by 10 experts and the content and face validity of the questionnaire, which was based on the CVR, was about 2.2. And in research on children, about 0.86 of children have pre-number concepts in them.
