Self-efficacy is one of the important structures in Bandura's cognitive-social theory and it means the individual's confidence and belief in his ability to control his thoughts, feelings, activities, and his effective performance in stress situations.The purpose of the present study was to examine factor structure and psychometric properties of the Career decision Self- Efficacy Scale Short Form among the students. The research method was correlation (validity and reliability measurement) and the statistical population consisted of students university of Tehran in the academic year of 2016-2017, from which a sample of 367 students were selected by cluster random sampling. Measuring instruments were the Career decision Self- Efficacy scales. To investigate the validity aspect of Career decision Self- Efficacy scales confirmatory factor analysis technique (CFA) was used. The results showed that the model parameters are fit. The scale reliability coefficient, and internal consistency using Cronbach's alpha was 0.88. According to the results, the Career decision Self- Efficacy scales, in the community students university of Tehran, has good reliability and validity.

Therefore studying psychometric properties of the most widely used tools in this field like happiness is of a great importance. Objective: the present study aimed at exploring the psychometric properties of Persian version of the oxford happiness questionnaire among college students. Aim: The present study aimed to Construction and Standardization of adolescents social loafing questionnaire Method: This research is a descriptive study in which 27 high school students of Kermanshah city (first and second secondary) participated A 34-item questionnaire, developed based on research literature and was completed by students for data collection. To determine the number of factor s of questionnaire, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis by LISREL 8.7 and SPSS 16.0 software were used. Also awareness function of questions calculated by using software MULTI-LOG. Results: The research showed that the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of questionnaire that indicates the inner reliability and parallelism is high.( α =0.923) and validity through exploratory factor analysis by varimax's method produced four factors that are: Job characteristics, individual perception, group characteristics, inferiority and negative perceptions. Also by using of first and second order confirmatory factor analysis these four factors examined and results showed that validity of questionnaire is acceptable. Discussion and conclusions: Research findings indicate that adolescents social loafing questionnaire have acceptable psychometric characteristics. and it can be use as valid and reliable tool for research in Sociology and psychologically

Background: ‘E-portfolio’ is a collection of digital and electronic documents showing the students’ progress and academic achievement in a course or lesson. Objective: The present research aims to study the effect of using e-portfolios on self-regulation learning strategies adopted by the students. Method: The research method was that of quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The statistical population included all the students of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of Allameh Tabataba’i University in the second semester of 2012-2013. Using convenience sampling method, 2 MA classes were selected as the sample population. Each class included 18 students randomly divided to experimental and control groups. The Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire by Pintrich and De Groot (MSLQ) (1990) was used to measure the subjects’ self-regulated learning strategies. At the beginning of the semester, both groups were taken a pretest in the same circumstance. Then, the experimental group was exposed to the independent variable for one semester. At the end of the semester, a posttest was applied on both groups to examine the changes. An analysis of covariance was used to analyze the collected data. Results: The results showed that the self-regulation learning strategies of the experimental group had increased significantly compared to that of the control group. Conclusion: Therefore, it can be concluded that an e-portfolio is an instrument for teaching, learning, and assessment by which learners become motivated to have more activity and, consequently, reach more achievements in learning and acquiring the related skills.

Action control is one of the self-regulation processes which allow people to form their goals, persevere, execute and convert these goals into objective actions. It is a kind of psychological mechanism that led people commit to a set of actions against other actions. Action control is one of the self-regulation processes which considerably affect family variables, academic, life skills, and psychological health. The present study was aimed to investigate psychometric properties of Action Control Scale in Iranian community. The Persian version of Action Control Scale was performed on 422 undergraduate students of Shiraz University. Internal consistency was calculated so as to examine the reliability of the measure; the validity of the scale was also investigated employing the factor analysis and convergent validity. Cronbach's alpha coefficient indicated the acceptable reliability of Action Control Scale. Factor analysis also indicated the involvement of 3 factors, namely Disengagement/ Preoccupation, Initiative/ Hesitation, and Persistency/ Volatility, in the aforementioned scale which altogether explain 35/93% of total variance. Action Control Scale is of acceptable reliability and validity and hence is an appropriate method for assessment of action control in the Iranian culture.

This study aimed to evaluate of realizing the cognitive goals students’ in high school and pre-university religion and life curriculum. This research is R&D and evaluative. The population consisted of students in all school districts in Tehran province (academic year 2010-2011) that were selected by multistage cluster sampling method and randomly. In order to verify the cognitive goals of religious education used achievement tests of multiple choices in six levels. To measure the progress of lower levels goals of cognitive used knowledge and understanding level tests’. Too, the measure the progress of higher levels goals of cognitive used application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation tests’ to separate gradesThe results showed that was not realized in the first grade and pre-university, none of the goals of low levels of cognitive (knowledge and understanding) and High levels (application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation). While in the second and third grades was relatively knowledge level and other level were unacceptable. According to results, knowledge goals of religious education have not been realized in secondary and pre-university generally. So, suggestions are presented for improving cognitive goals.

The present study aimed to construct a psychometric version of the Persian version of a health-oriented lifestyle behaviors questionnaire among a group of Iranian students. The present study was composed of two stages, in general. In the first stage, the researcher tried to identify the most commonly used behavioral models of students based on contemporary theories of motivation for academic achievement. With the aim of forming a bank of questions, the researcher, with the help of two specialists in educational psychology and Psychometric, developed the bank's initial version of questions that included various forms of behavioral models. Then, the researcher, using a deductive approach and with the help of detailed analysis techniques, selected the most appropriate items for each behavioral model. In the second stage, the researcher, by adopting a deductive approach while analyzing the structure of the developed tool, provided evidence in defense of the technical characteristics of the validity and reliability of the tool. The results of confirmatory factor analysis based on AMOS software showed that multidimensional structure of academic health facilitating behaviors including academic optimism, academic engagement, …, as well as multidimensional structure of disincentive behaviors such as learned helplessness, avoidance of seeking help, academic procrastination, …, and perfectionism with data were shown to fit well. In addition, the results of the common variance of the multiple forms of facilitating and preventing of educational health with emotions of academic achievement, academic self-efficacy and perceived academic stress showed that the health-oriented lifestyle questionnaire has constructive validity. The results of this research provided evidence in defense of theoretical logic of the health-oriented educational lifestyle questionnaire, and on the other hand, showed that this tool was used to measure the concept of behaviors of the health-oriented educational lifestyle among Iranian students are considered to be a valid and reliable instrument.

Abstract The aim of this study was to design and testing the educational motion graphics to improve components executive functions in children with learning disorders.The research design was a quasi-experimental design with pre-test-post-test with a control group and the study population was all students with learning disorders aged 7 to 11 years referred to treatment centers in the cities of Tehran, Isfahan and Qazvin.In order to select the sample, using available sampling, 18 students who volunteered to participate in the experiment were selected. Of these, 9 children in the experimental group and 9 children in the control group were randomly selected. Then, the motion graphics, the content of which was formed using scientific resources and its form with the help of specialized animation software, and was performed for the experimental group for10 ، 45-minute sessions.Subjects were assessed using the BRIEF Executive Function Questionnaire (2000) and the Lufi Perseverance Questionnaire (1987) as the pre-test and post-test. In the next step, the research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.The results showed that there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups ’ scores of the components (p> ./. 1) And training through motion graphics has been effective on executive functions (attention, response inhibition, planning, organizing, reminding, perseverance and effort) in children with learningdisorders. Considering the effectiveness of educational motion graphics on executive functions, it is suggested to use the capabilities of motion graphics in educating children with learning disorders.Keywords:Motion graphics, Executive functions, Learning disorders.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the portfolio evaluating on the motivation and academic achievement of students in the third grade elementary school in the city of Nahavand in the academic year 2012-2013. For this purpose, a sample of 100 individuals (2 girls and 2 boy's classes) was selected randomly in a multi-stage method; then, a class (male and female) as an experimental group and a class (male and female) Was selected as the control group. The experimental groups received a course in a portfolio evaluating, but control groups received standardized measurements. For data collection in pre-test and post-test, Hermann's motivation questionnaire and researcher-made academic achievement test were used. Data analysis using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) for differential scores showed that there is a significant difference between motivation and academic achievement in two groups of measurement and portfolio assessment. That is, students who had received a portfolio assessment had a higher degree of motivation and academic achievement than control groups who received standardized measurements. In addition, the portfolio assessment on the motivation and academic achievement of elementary school-boy students has a significant effect; and on the motivation achievement of female students in the third elementary school has a significant effect, but on the academic achievement of female hasn't a significant effect. Measurement-gender interaction was also significant.

method, Wittgenstein’s recent philosophy, psychoanalysis and Background: Discoursal Psychology is a new field of study that overlaps largely with socio-psychology of language. In this new field of study, certain issues are discussed that are not usually dealt with in socio-psychology of language, issues related to structures and strategies specific to discourse that can be studied from the perspective of discourse analysis. Discoursal Psychology is a scientific field of study that has emerged from the convergence of various fields such as semiotics, linguistics, ethnography, cognitive psychology, and artificial intelligence focused on language, particularly its social nature.
Method: Discourse Analysis originated from hermeneutics, but it has emerged as an independent branch in human and social sciences since mid-1960s. Discourse Analysis, as an analytical method of discoursal psychology, contributes to dialog within social understanding in order to explore comprehending and conveying meaning within the framework of language study.
Findings: New advances in human sciences have led to the emergence of a new type of psychology known as "Discoursal Psychology" that has opened various ways for understanding psychological phenomena such as cognition, affection, beliefs, identity, perceptions and motivations. Psychological frameworks within socio-cultural domains have had more significant role in directing and guiding theorizing and performing research issues than sociological frameworks. Discoursal Psychology is considered one of these frameworks that contribute to understanding psychological phenomena within socio-cultural context.
Discussions and Conclusion: As any scientific issue requires its own method of analysis and investigation, Discoursal Psychology investigates psychological events from the perspective of a socio-cultural event derived from language and considers language as the praxis and has adopted Discourse Analysis as the method of linguistic study. Discourse Analysis is based on a wide range of intellectual resources including conversational analysis, ethnographic critical analysis of ideology. While avoiding internal psychological processes, this approach studies socio-psychological themes in general psychology.

Children are different regarding the type of activities. Some of them are hyperactive characterized with unwanted, non-purposeful movements. Diagnosis of this disorder needs appropriate and precise methods.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the structure and validity of questionnaires used for the diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Research population consisted of teachers of exceptional children and parents of hyperactive children. One hundred people (54 parents and 46 teachers) were selected using multistage and random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires (exploratory factor analysis).
Exploratory factor analysis indicated that the questionnaires used for the diagnosis of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder consist of 35 items and 5 factors, including memory and attention deficit (9 items), responsibility and organization (9 items), non-purposeful movements (8 items), cooperating with others (5 items), and impulsivity (4 items). The questionnaire has an adequate reliability (Cronbach's alpha for the entire questionnaire = 0.70, first factor = 0.85, second factor = 0.72, third factor = 0.81, fourth factor = 0.68, and fifth factor = 0.65). To determine the validity of the text, Adult Behavior Checklist (Barkley and Murphy, 1998) was used. Correlation coefficient was estimated as 0.295, which is significant at p<0.003. This is indicative of the adequate validity of the questionnaire.
This study suggests that the questionnaire used for the diagnosis of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder is effective and has adequate reliability and validity.

The current study aimed to improve precision and item functioning of the OHQ by applying Rasch analysis to a sample of 212 participants. A convenience sample of 212 college students (139 girls and 78 boys) from a number of universities in Tehran city completed the OHQ questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Rasch analysis approach using RUMM2030 software. Results indicated that a number of the OHQ items displayed disordered thresholds. Therefore, items were rescored in a uniform fashion to correct the thresholds. Furthermore, three items (18, 19, and 25) displayed poor fit to Rasch model and were removed. Best fit to the unidimensional Rasch model was achieved after rescoring items in uniform fashion and removing items number 18, 19 and 25. Using the ordinal-to-interval conversion tables published here, ordinal OHQ scores can now be transformed to interval level data and thus subjected to parametric statistical analysis without violating fundamental assumptions. The precision of the instrument can be improved significantly by these minor modifications without the need to modify the original response format.

This study aimed to developed a questionnaire of knowledge management and check the reliability and validity of that, among faculty member of public universities in Tehran.The research method was descriptive and survey type. First, by studying the literature of the research, we extracted the components and indicators of knowledge management and a questionnaire was prepared. Then 300 questionnaire was administered to all faculty member of the psychology and educational sciences at six public universities in Tehran consisted of : Allameh tabatabai, shahid beheshti, kharazmi, tarbiat modarres and al-zahra in 2016- 2017. The results showed that knowledge management questionnaire has good face and content validity. Also exploratory factor analysis via principal component were used in order to examine the construct validity. Finally eight factors were identified: individual tacit knowledge, externalization, individual explicit knowledge, combination, explicit organizational knowledge, internalization, organizational tacit knowledge and socialization. The cronbach’s Alpha coefficient was found to be 0.80 for the entire questionnaire. The reliability and validity coefficient were generally qualified for being used in organizational research related to knowledge management.

Background: Performance indicators can be appropriate tools for designing, implementing, and evaluating education, research, management, and other programs in universities and higher education institutions. Using performance indicators, one can investigate the past, current, and desired status of universities and compare it with the existing standards. Objective: The present paper aims to determine the weight of the performance evaluation indicators of nongovernmental-nonprofit higher education institutions in research, educational, and environmental dimensions, along with providing a ranking for them. Method: Participants consisted of nongovernmental-nonprofit institutions of higher education as well as members of monitoring and evaluation bodies of higher education centers in Kermanshah, Kurdistan, Hamedan, Lorestan, and Ham provinces (n = 45). All members were asked to fill out the performance evaluation questionnaire. The final weight of indicators was determined through analytic hierarchy process. Performance evaluation indicators were collected through questionnaires in the form of a self-report. Results: Results showed that the educational indicators were more important than other indicators for evaluating the nongovernmental-nonprofit higher education centers. The weight of educational dimension was more than other dimensions (0.42). The weights of research and environmental dimensions were almost the same (0.29). The maximum weight of the indictors that were placed first in educational, research, and environmental dimensions were respectively 0.39, 0.30 and 0.17. The range of weights was larger in educational indicators than in other dimensions. The rating of each institution was determined in educational, research, and environmental dimensions. Background: reminiscence functions scale is the most valid measure of functions of reminiscence. Since validity and reliability of the RFS have not been investigated in the iranian context it is necessary to study the psychometric properties of this scale. Objective: the present paperaims to study the psychometric properties of the reminiscence functions scale amongthe students of shiraz university. Method: a sample of 247 students studying at shiraz university during the academic year 2011-2012 wasselected using random cluster sampling method. The participants filled the reminiscence functions scale. Results: the results of factor analysis yielded 7 factors. The results of internal consistency analysis showed that the instrument was of a good internal consistency. Conclusion: the results of the present study shows that the reminiscence functions scale is appropriately valid and reliablein iran and can be used in research works and therapeutic interventions.

The purpose of this research was to combine the quantitative results of the researches related to the students' math performance. For this purpose, all studies which have been done in Iran from the year 1381 to 1388, were collected, using the quarterly and scientific-research articles. In general, 40 cases of them, had meta-analysis measuring features, in particular the effect size measuring feature. The Hodges’s method has been used for metaanalysis and the Cohen’s method has been used for interpreting the findings. The results indicated that there is a significant relationship between math performance and selfe-fficacy, self-regulation, motivation, goal orientation, learning strategies, teaching methods, cognitive styles, reading styles, gender, and perception of the class structure. Among the mentioned variables, self-efficacy was found to be the best predictor of students’ math performance due to its high level of variance.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the psychometric properties of Persian short form Social Production Function Instrument for the Level of wellbeing in older people, including reliability, validity and exploratory factor analysis. Person fit assessment is useful in ensuring validity and fairness in the use and interpretation of test scores. In this research, applied the H^T person fit statistic to examine response pattern of TIMSS eight grade mathematics test of Australia, Iran, and Republic of Korea. In order to investigate the effect of contextual variables on students’ person fit statistic, hierarchical linear modeling was used, due to the hierarchical structure of data. Based on intraclass correlation coefficient, 83.7% of variance of the H^T person fit statistic is at student level, and 16.3% of variance of the H^T person fit statistic is at school and country levels. In addition, according to the hierarchy linear final model between the H^T person fit statistic and factors of students, schools, and countries; only the average of students mathematics achievement in countries, school emphasis on students academic success, students confident in mathematics, and estimate of students ability, are significant factors in the final model.

Background: The expansion of the use of audio and video media technology has faced society with many medical, cultural and economic challenges. In the meantime, excessive use of mobile phones can cause many problems. Objective: The aim of this study was to construct and validate a questionnaire on physical and psychological injuries of mobile phones. Method: The method of the present study was descriptive-correlational and confirmatory factor analysis. The statistical population of the study consisted of all citizens of Khorramabad with a diploma or higher in 1399, which was selected as a statistical sample by available sampling method of 200 people online and virtual. Results: The results showed that the factorized physical and psychological harm questionnaire of cell phone with 42 questions and 10 components (fear of loss, vibration syndrome, duck syndrome, nomophobia, insomnia, hearing problem, eye syndrome, tunnel and neck syndrome SMS) and has good reliability, validity and flexibility in terms of psychometrics. Discussion and Conclusion: The questionnaire of factor analysis of physical and psychological injuries of mobile phones can be used to identify and study the physical and psychological injuries of mobile phones.

Abstract Background: Emotional balance is a strategy for creating adaptive and care behaviors that can lead to a significant impact on the psychological well-being and health students.Objective: This study aimed to investigate the validity, reliability and factor analysis of the self-compassion scale Neff (2003) among undergraduates student. Methods: In this descriptive survey using a multistage cluster sampling, a random sample 353 patients (182 male and 171 female) students were chosen. Results: Exploratory factor analysis revealed six factors of this scale with Extraction Sums of Squared Loadings (75/11) which this scale shows the construct validity. Cronbach's alpha coefficient and split-half reliability of this construct were 0/87 and 0/76 respectively. Correlations between the subscales represent the convergence validity. Conclusion: The results show that the Persian version this scale has good reliability and validity among undergraduate students to measure these features can be used in psychological research.

Construct validity of instruments, tests, and scales can be examined using the Rasch Measurement Model (RMM) during their initial construction and validation, or after they have been published. The aim of this study was to examine the construct validity of the Test of Visual-Motor Skills Revised (TVMS R) by applying the RMM to evaluate its scalability, dimensionality, differential item functioning, and hierarchical ordering. The participants included 400 children aged 5 to 12 years, recruited from six schools in the Melbourne metropolitan area, Victoria, Australia. Children completed the TVMS-R under the supervision of an occupational therapist. Overall, 39 out of 142 of the TVMS R scale scoring accuracy classification criteria items exhibited poor measurement properties. As nearly one-third of the scoring classification criteria items were found to be problematic, the TVMS R in its current form is not recommended for clinical use, as it is not consistent with the clinical demands expected of an instrument used to evaluate the visual motor integration skills of children

Aim: The main purpose of the present study was to investigate psychometric properties of the Emotional adjustment Measure (EAM, Rubio, Aguado, Hontangas& Hernandez, 2007) among Iranian university students. Methods: 324 university students (130 male, 194 female) completed the EAM, the Perceived Stress Reactivity Scale (PSRS, Schlotz, Yim, Zoccola, Jansen & Schulz, 2011) and the Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile-II (HPLP-II, Walker, Sechrist& Pender, 1995). The confirmatory factor analysis method and internal consistency were used to compute the EAM's construct validity and reliability, respectively. Also, in order to examine the construct validity of the EAM, we computed correlations between different dimensions of EAM with different dimension of Perceived Stress Reactivity Scale and Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile-II. Results: The results of confirmatory factor analysis indicated that 2-factor structure of the EAM consisted lack of physiologic and emotional arousal regulation factor and hopelessness and wishful thinking factor had good fit to data in the Iranian sample. Also, correlational analyses between different dimensions of EAM with different dimension of Perceived Stress Reactivity Scale and Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile-II provided initial evidence for the EAM construct validity. Cronbach’s α coefficients ranged from 0/84 to 0/91 for total factor and its dimensions. Discussion: In sum, these findings provide evidence for the validity and reliability of the EAM as an instrument to measure of emotional adjustment among Iranian university students.
