Emotional helping is a type of active emotional action that emphasizes openness to the concerns of others and trying to improve their emotions. The aim of this study was to develop and validate the emotional helping questionnaire. Research method was descriptive-survey and the statistical population included psychology and educational sciences students of Allameh Tabataba'i University in 1402-1401, among whom 200 were selected by multi-stage sampling method. Based on the Research literature and opinion of experts, a questionnaire was designed, with 11 items in 3 areas of "empathy", "filling loneliness" and "giving motivation and hope" and in 4 levels including family members, friends, acquaintances/ Family and strangers,. Then, internal consistency examined through Cronbach's alpha coefficient and its construct validity through confirmatory factor analysis. The result showed that the model have a good fit with the data. It seems that showing any helping behavior is strongly influenced by the ratio of the target audience to the helping person. Also, considering the acceptability coefficient of the items, it can be seen that in each of the components, the highest average belongs to family members and then to friends, and family/acquaintances and strangers are in the next categories. The reliability of the questionnaire was also measured and confirmed through retesting. Since the current research was conducted on students, it suggested that this tool be implemented in other population and age groups and its psychometric properties should be examined.

One of the most important communicative behaviors that impacts student learning is teacher confirmation. The goal of the present research was to introduce and validate the Teacher Confirmation Scale (Ellis, 2000). This research was applied in terms of its objective and descriptive-correlational in terms of data collection methods. The population of this research included the third-grade students of the second period of secondary school in Kermanshah city. using a convenient sampling method and based on the sampling rules in structural equation modeling, a sample of 210 students was selected. The data collection tool was the Ellis Teacher Confirmation Scale (2000). Data analysis was conducted using first-order and second-order confirmatory factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, independent samples t-test, and one-way analysis of variance. The findings indicated the confirmation of the factor structure of the Teacher Confirmation Scale consisting of 16 items and three components: teachers' response to students' questions-comments, demonstrated interest in students and in their learning, and teaching styleb in the Iranian sample studied. The overall reliability of the scale was 0.83, and the reliability of its components ranged from 0.74 to 0.80. The findings also revealed that mathematics students perceived teacher confirming behaviors significantly less compared to students from the experimental sciences and humanities. Overall, based on the findings, it can be concluded that the Teacher Confirmation Scale has adequate validity and reliability among the sample of Iranian students, and this tool can be used to assess teachers' confirmation behaviors.

The Developmental Indicators for the Assessment of Learning is a screening test to identify children at risk of developmental delays and academic problems. The present study investigates the psychometric properties of the Developmental Indicators for the Assessment of Learning among children. The statistical population included children from 2 years and 6 months to 6 years in Tehran and Bojnord cities, and the sampling was done cluster random from kindergartens in Tehran and Bojnord cities. The final sample number was 336 children. Based on the interviews and preliminary implementation of the test, the general result was that the test is generally relevant and appropriate for the assessment of learning in pre-primary school age in Iran. The overall difference between age levels in motor, concepts, language, self-help development, and social-emotional development sub-tests was significant (p<0.0001). Considering the desirability of the fit indices, the factorial structure of the Developmental Indicators for the Assessment of Learning was confirmed. Regarding the simultaneous validity, the correlation between the Developmental Indicators for the Assessment of Learning and Denver Developmental Screening Test was established. The reliability of Cronbach's alpha for motor, concepts, and language subtests was 0.94, 0.95, and 0.94, respectively. Therefore, the Developmental Indicators for the Assessment of Learning to evaluate Iranian children have acceptable validity and reliability.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the validity and reliability of Pearson, Child and Carmen's (2010) ritual questionnaire in committed relationships. The population of the research included all married men and women in Isfahan city in 2023-2024, the study was conducted using the available sampling method and with a sample size of 388 people, which was calculated based on the ratio of the number of samples to the number of items in the questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed and completed electronically and partially in printed form after being translated and legalized by experts. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to check the reliability of the questionnaire and confirmatory factor analysis was used to determine its validity. Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the whole questionnaire of rituals in committed relationships is equal to 0.988 and for the factors of daily routines and tasks (0.919), Idiosyncratic rituals (0.952), everyday talk rituals (0.963), intimacy expressions (961. 0) and couple-time rituals (0.971) were obtained. Also, the results of the factor analysis confirm that the structure of the questionnaire has an acceptable fit with the data and all the goodness of fit indicators confirm the model (NFI= 0.924, RMSEA = 0.078, IFI = 0.917 and CFI = 0.946). Finally, the convergence validity is mentioned based on the average extracted variance (AVE) of five factors, the minimum value of which is 0.74, which indicates a suitable convergence. Therefore, it can be concluded that the questionnaire can be a suitable tool for evaluating rituals in the committed relationships of married men and women, and it can be used as a reliable tool in research.

This study aimed to validate the psychometric properties of the Multidimensional Awareness Scale (MAS) in the Iranian population. Given the significant role of present-moment awareness and meta-awareness of thoughts and emotions in mental health, establishing reliable measurement tools is essential for research and clinical applications. The research utilized a descriptive psychometric design and sampled 200 residents of Tehran using convenience sampling methods. Data collection involved administering the Persian versions of the MAS translated and back-translated alongside the Experience Questionnaire (EQ) in a digital format. Data analysis was conducted using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), Pearson's correlation, and Cronbach's alpha, utilizing SPSS 24 and AMOS software. Results from CFA indicated that the three-factor structure of the MAS comprising meta-awareness, decentered awareness, and external awareness exhibited acceptable fit indices consistent with standard criteria. Convergent validity was supported by a significant correlation with the EQ (r = 0.43). The average variance extracted (AVE) for each subscale meta-awareness, decentered awareness, and environmental awareness was 0.50, 0.54, and 0.51, respectively. Internal consistency reliability of the total scale was satisfactory, with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.71. In conclusion, the Persian version of the MAS demonstrates acceptable psychometric properties within the Iranian context, indicating its suitability for assessing individuals’ awareness levels. This scale can be effectively utilized in research and clinical settings to evaluate individual differences in awareness related to psychological and therapeutic interventions.

Evaluating Egocentrism in various aspects of life is crucial for diagnosis and treatment across all age groups. Due to the absence of a standardization tool in Iran to measure this psychological construct, this study was conducted to investigate the psychometric properties of the persian version of egocentism scale in students of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. In order to normalize the egocentrism scale, a translation and reverse translation method was used to prepare the scale. A total of 300 male and female students were selected from the undergraduate student population of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz during the academic year 2022-2023. The selection was done using a multi-stage cluster random sampling method. These people completed Tajmir Riahi et al.'s egocentrism scale (2022), Ames et al.'s (2006) narcissistic personality questionnaire, Machiavelli's egocentrism dimension questions of Surman's revised antisocial personality disorder questionnaire (2016), and Davis' empathy questionnaire (1983). Data analysis was done using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, Pearson's correlation coefficient, exploratory factor analysis using SPSS software version 26. Also, Pearson's correlation coefficients showed that egocentrism scale has appropriate and acceptable convergent and discriminant validity. Also, the results of exploratory analysis showed that only the extracted factor explains 55.70% of the variance. On the other hand, the results showed that there is no significant difference between male and female students in terms of egocentrism . In general, the findings of the present study showed that the Persian version of the egocentrism scale is a suitable tool for evaluating students' egocentrism.
