Abstract
With the advancement of technology and artificial intelligence products, readiness, awareness, and skills in this field have become a crucial issue for users of this technology across various scientific, commercial, industrial, and even military sectors. Therefore, the present study aimed to examine the psychometric properties of the Persian version of the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Scale by Ma and Chen (2024) among university students. In this study, 250 undergraduate, graduate, and phd students from three universities (Qom, Lorestan, and Tafresh) were selected using a convenience sampling method. The students then responded to the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Scale. The results of the principal component analysis in the first phase emphasized the unidimensional structure of the scale. In the next phase, confirmatory factor analysis results confirmed the unidimensional structure of the scale. The finding related to Cronbach's alpha coefficient also indicated that the scale has adequate internal consistency. Overall, the present study provided evidence supporting the validity and reliability of the Persian version of the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Scale among Iranian students. Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that this scale is a valid tool for measuring AI literacy among students.
