The aim of this study was to evaluate the psychometric characteristics (reliability and factorial structure) of Social Interest Scale for Iranian Children (SISIC) based on Adler’s theory. From different cities in Iran, and through a multi-stage cluster random sampling method, 290 children were recruited as statistical sample. The scale was answered by parents of children. Confirmatory factor analysis to evaluate factorial structure was used. In order to evaluate reliability, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used. The results of indicators of fitness showed that the proposed model is suitable. And second order factorial structure with four subscales of social interest scale (Responsibility-task doing, Relationship with people-empathy, Confidence-Assertive, Equality vs. Inferiority-superiority) had acceptable fit with the data. Cronbach's alpha for the four mentioned subscales as well as the total score was obtained: 89.0, 85.0, 72.0, 83.0 and 92.0. This indicates that this scale has an acceptable internal consistency. Gender comparison displayed that the girls had higher scores in the Social Interest scale, and also in responsibility-task doing, and Equality vs. Inferiority-Superiority. Accordingly, we can suggest that SISIC is a reliable and valid instrument to evaluate Social Interest in Iranian children ageing 4-12.

Background: In recent years, psychologists have introduced spirituality as one of the most effective construct in various spheres of life. Also researchers around the world have studied this phenomenon in different directions. Objective: Current research was carried out with the aim of construct and validation of spiritual capital and well being scales for senile people. Method: Statistical population was the senile people in Isfahan city, among them, 245 people were selected by accessible sampling. Research instruments was researcher made spiritual capital and well being scales. Data were analyzed by use of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and computation of reliability coefficient, Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate analysis of variances. Findings: Results revealed that spiritual capital scale with 21 items and spiritual well being scale with 8 items have suitable construct validity. Cronbachs’ alpha of spiritual capital components (spiritual valuation, quiet with God, the importance of spirituality and spiritual influence) was 0.9, 0.87, 0.84 and 0.86 respectively, and for spiritual well being scale was 0.89. Also results revealed that there are significant difference between spiritual capital and well being of non-habitant senile in sanitarium with senile who inhabitant in private and public sector sanitarium (p<0.01). Coclusion: Due to effective and constructive role of spiritual capital in the lives of the elderly, researchers can use questionnaires presented in this study for the purposes of research and practice in Iran.

Investigation of differences of top people’s scores in mathematical, natural and humanities science in the university entrance examination, according to Bloom's cognitive levels. We aimed to analyze three groups of questions about math, science and humanities sciences were based on Bloom's cognitive levels. In this descriptive - analytical sample was selected using purposive sampling. The data have been collected where the information on the education measure. Thus, the answer to 100 volunteers who participated in the 1390 entrance examination and test groups among the top 100 math, and humanities were selected as samples. Data using chi-square test and Wilcoxon tests were used for analysis. The results showed that among the ranks of 1 to 100 in each of three experimental groups don’t have any differences in the three groups was seen Bloom cognitive multiple correct answers. Used data in this research related to national organization educational testing.Key words: konkur, Bloom's cognitive levels, mathematics, natural science, humanities

Background: Researches has shown that the addition of intelligence, other variables such as student’s beliefs about mathematics effect on their academic performance and progress. Therefore, investigate of the psychometric characteristics of commonly tools such as mathematical beliefs scale is important. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of native version of the mathematical beliefs scale (Ladder and Helen, 2002) for use in the Iranian educational culture, that scale is a part of the questionnaire Sherman & Fennema Mathematics Attitudes (1976). Method: the sample of the study was 250 students from junior high school math students that selected based on cluster sampling and responds to mathematical beliefs scale. Results: Factor analysis using principal component confirmed there are three factors to measure beliefs about Education mathematics which explained the first 20/17, the second 10/97, and the third 7/93 of the total variance. For the convergent validity of the scale, we use relationship between the mathematical beliefs Scale and mathematics scale of students in final exam at school. A result showed that the correlation between the scale and test is 72/0 that significant is in level p< 0/001. So, reliability of mathematical beliefs Scale with Coefficient Alpha, 0/83, which is acceptable and satisfactory. Conclusions: The results of the psychometric mathematical beliefs Scale showed the scale should be able to measuring mathematical beliefs of high school students in mathematics and it can be used in future mathematics education research.
