Background:The seven deadly habits are all the basic behaviors of external control psychology that harm and destroy relationships and, in doing so, cause almost all the problems with which people struggle. Objective:The main purpose of this research was to construct and validate an instrument that operationalizes Glasser’s constructs of seven deadly habits in marriage.Method: The theoretical principles of the deadly habits in marriage based on the Choice theory perspective were studied first. Then, the researchers designed a questionnaire based on the framework resulted from studying the achieved resources. After studying the form and content validity of the raisedquestions in relation to each of the sub-scales and removing the inappropriate ones, 68 questions were performed for the final performance on a group composed of 250 married students (213 females and 37 males) of Allameh Tabataba’i University. To investigate the reliability, two methods of internal consistency (Cronbach's Alpha) and split-half were applied, and the validity was determined from three aspects of construct validity (factor analysis), concurrent validity and content validity. Results:A factor analysis, using the principal components analysis (direct oblimin rotation) resulted that determined 7 factors consisted of 58.989% of the total variance. The Cronbach’s alpha for the whole scale was 0.95 (first factor: 0.82, second factor: 0.76, third factor: 0.78, fourth factor: 0.83, fifth factor: 0.76, sixth factor: 0.82, and seventh factor: 0.71), and split-half reliability was 0.957. We assessed the concurrent validity of the “Quality of Marital Relationships” (QMR) Scale in relation to the “Four Horsemen” subscale of Sound Relationship House Scale (SRH), and the result was 0.567. Conclusion:It can be concluded that the “Quality of Marital Relationships” scale has a good reliability and validity, and is useful instrument to assess deadly habits in marital relationship based on the choice theory.

Construct validity of instruments, tests, and scales can be examined using the Rasch Measurement Model (RMM) during their initial construction and validation, or after they have been published. The aim of this study was to examine the construct validity of the Test of Visual-Motor Skills Revised (TVMS R) by applying the RMM to evaluate its scalability, dimensionality, differential item functioning, and hierarchical ordering. The participants included 400 children aged 5 to 12 years, recruited from six schools in the Melbourne metropolitan area, Victoria, Australia. Children completed the TVMS-R under the supervision of an occupational therapist. Overall, 39 out of 142 of the TVMS R scale scoring accuracy classification criteria items exhibited poor measurement properties. As nearly one-third of the scoring classification criteria items were found to be problematic, the TVMS R in its current form is not recommended for clinical use, as it is not consistent with the clinical demands expected of an instrument used to evaluate the visual motor integration skills of children

objective: The aim of this study was studying exploring the validity, relibility of Keyes` Social Well-being Questionnaire among women and men in Tehran. Method: This research was kind of survey. Statistical population of this research was included women and men in Tehran City that 500 women and men randomly selected by multi-phases clustering sampling from statistical population. Research tool was Keyes` Social Well-being Questionnaire (1998). For studying the scale`s reliability was used of test-retest method and for studyind valilidity used of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Results: Pearson correlation coefficient between two times implementations showed that this questionnaire has high reliability and confirmatory factor analysis showed that model has moderate fitness in determining factors in the primary form expressed by Keyes (1998). Also , results of the means indicated that social contribution mean in wemon, men and whole participants was more than other factors. Conclusion:According to the research results, the questionnaire is valid and reliable tool and has good fitness for Iranian population.

Background: In recent years research in the field of positive psychology has increased. The ultimate goal this approach is the identification of structures and practices that provide for human well-being. Thus, the psychometric properties of commonly used tools in the field of family resiliency is very important. 0bjectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties ofthe Sixbey "Family Resilience scale (2005). Methods: In the pilot study of 30 patients and 400 primary school students in District 4 city of Karaj, 92 to 1391 academic year were selected by stratified random sampling. Completed questionnaire family resiliency. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis of the data using the spss and lisrel were analyzed by the software increases. Results: The results of exploratory factor analysis revealed six factors. And confirmatory factor analysis results confirmed that the questionnaire had an acceptable fit to the data and all other goodness of fit indicators confirm the model. Also survey of the reliability questionnaire, Cronbach's alpha coefficient and test-retest Obtained 0.92 and 0.88 respectively. Also the convergent validity coefficients of Family Resiliency questionnaire (Sixbey, 2005) with family functioning scale ( Family Assessment Divice version 1(FAD ), Family Assessment Divice version 2, Family cohesion scale (1381) and Connor – Davidson Resiliency Scale (2003) Obtained 0.80, 0.73, 0.65 and 0.45 respectively that be upper limit and acceptable. Conclusions: The results showed that the psychometrics properties of the scale was satisfactory and can be considered as a valid and reliable instrument used in the research of family.

Background: The research is based on of Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence according which we can adjust teaching methods and materials in harmony students kind and level of intelligence. Objectives:The present research was aimed to construct and standardize a questionnaire onGardner’s multiple intelligence. Methods: The sample group consisted of 811 under graduate students in different branches of Roudehen Islamic Azad University in the second semester of academic year 1389-90. The sample group was randomly selected via multistage stratified sampling. The instrument was constructed according to Gardner’s theory and research literature and same of the available questionnaires. The reliability of the questionnaire was estimated using Cranbach Alpha coefficient, which range from 0.663 to 0.824 for different categories of questionnaires. The construct validity of the questionnaires was estimated using component principle analysis by varimax rotation. Results: The findings of research showed that 1) The questionnaires have a acceptable reliability and construct validity. 2) Independent groups t test showed that there was no significant difference between boys and girls except for bodily – kinesthetic intelligence. 3) Table of norms was computed for different test questionnaires based on deviate IQ (M=100,sd=15) for girls and boys. Conclusion: This instrument could be used for recognition of students intelligence and can be viewed as prelimitary step for future educational planninig and decision making for education.

Context: the math efficacy beliefs instrument was developed by Huinker, Enochs (1995). However, research review implied that there is conflicting results. Goal: current research was conducted to investigate psychometric properties of math efficacy beliefs using G-PCM, an item-response model for polytomous model, on teachers samples. Method: 332 Tabriz city elementary schools teachers were chosen randomly and the math efficacy beliefs was administrated them. Results: Alfa coefficients for two subscales of the instrument were .82 and 0.85 for outcome expectancy and efficacy beliefs respectively. In spite of acceptable classical results, generalized partial credit model results implied that the scale items had major problems. Results showed that all difficulty coefficients were negative, i.e simple items., and information functions only best in low-ability part. Discussion: given the importance of math efficacy beliefs, developing new and efficient instrument with good psychometric properties are advised.
