Identification and measurement of emotional factors affecting academic achievement is one of the most active and important areas in educational psychology, which academic optimism is one of the new structures in the field of positive psychology in this regard. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of Tschannen‐Moran et al Academic Optimism Scale (2013). The questionnaire includes 28 questions that measure three components of academic emphasis, student trust to teachers, and unity to the school. The subjects of this study were 385 students of first grade high school in Khorramabad city during the academic year 2015-2016 (186 boys and 199 girls) who were selected by relative stratified sampling method based on gender and region. The instrument used in this study was the Tschannen‐Moran Optimism Scale (2013). Confirmatory factor analysis method through the main components method to check the validity of the questionnaire and the Cronbach's alpha coefficient to check the reliability of the questionnaire were used. The results of factor analysis showed that three components are revealed by removing four questions from the whole questionnaire and factor analysis of the rest of the questions and results rotation with varimax method. Also, the results of the parallel analysis were used to identify the exact components that the results of this analysis also confirmed these three components. It was also found that the whole questionnaire and its components had high reliability. In a general view, the results of the study showed that the "academic optimism questionnaire" is suitable for students to measure this feature, and to some extent it can meet the needs of the present.

The investigation of psychometric properties of TEIQue-CF, including reliability, validity and exploratory factor analysis was the purpose of this study to achieve this end 343 students (343 males), were selected through cluster random sampling. The exploratory factor analysis were investigated through principal component method, this analysis confirmed nine factors (Adaptability, Affective disposition, Emotion expression, Emotion perception, Emotion regulation, Low impulsivity, Peer relations, Self-esteem and Self-motivation). Internal consistency in term of the ordinal Theta and Cornbakh alpha coefficients in the sample group has been computed and confirmed. The Results of factor analysis, conducted in the main culture, reliability and validity coeddicients were similar to the previous studies. According to the psychometric property, this present scale can be applied in TEIQue-CF research. Positive psychology emphasizes on mental health and well-being improvement as a new approach in psychology area. In fact, positive psychology is the science of happiness and flourishing of human beings. In this regard, flourishing is considered as one of the important factors of individuals' success. Flourishing is a combination of good feeling and effective functions and is equivalent with high level of psychological wellbeing and it briefly indicates mental health. The main purpose of the present research is to study psychometric properties of flourishing questionnaire based on Seligman model among Iranian students. The population includes all students of Tehran universities in 2015. The sample of the study includes 300 students (165 female and 165 male) and they have been selected by cluster sampling. In order to analyze data, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis methods, Pearson correlation, item-total score correlation, and reliability analysis by SPSSv22 and LISRELv8,80 were used. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis results have confirmed HFQ. The results of convergent validity of flourishing questionnaire have been confirmed by its concurrent execution with "Ahvaz Self-actualization" and "Diener’s Flourishing Questionnaire", also its divergent validity was studied and confirmed by "Beck’s Depression Inventory". Reliability coefficient of flourishing questionnaire was achieved as 0.82, 0.61, 0.77, 0.78 and 0.90 respectively for factors of positive emotions, relationships, meanings, achievements and total questionnaire by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Finally, according to the reliability and validity coefficient, ease of implementation, grading, interpretation, and also limited time for answering questionnaire it can be said that flourishing questionnaire has the necessary conditions to be used in psychological researches to measure the level of flourishing. Also it is suggested to use it for determining the level of flourishing prevalence in the student society.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the validity, reliability and factor structure of Ryff's psychological well-being scale in Gifted High School Students. This study was correlation design. The sample consist of 322 high school students that selected by multi stage cluster sampling in Shiraz city at Gifted Schools. The participants completed psychological wellbeing. Data were analyzed by using factor analyses and correlation. For investigate instruments’ reliability used to internal consistency and test- retest coefficient methods. The internal consistency of this scale by using alpha Cronbach,s were , 0/92, 0/91 and 0/89 for comprising of purpose in life, personal growth, and Environment mastery. So, for test- retest coefficient was 0.89 to 0/81 that the findings mean of this instrument has good reliability. The results of the factor analysis showed that Ryff's psychological well-being scale is decreased to 3 factors and related factors including comprising of purpose in life, personal growth, and Environment mastery. In addition, goodness of fit indices of confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the 3 extracted factor. In sum, the findings of the study provide good evidence on reliability and validity of Ryff's psychological well-being scale and so this scale is suitable for research and clinical applications.

In this study, the mentality of curriculum experts according to their different experiences about university research and its relevance to the curriculum in higher education be identified. Q methodology was used for this purpose. 20 specialist research data collected was analyzed by Q-methodology. The results showed that three different approaches to the relationship between Institutional Research (IR( and university curriculum was identified. These approaches were: problem solving approach in which IR create and identify new problems for university curriculum, strategic approach in which IR affected and directed university curriculum vision, knowledge application approach in which IR facilitate knowledge based relationship between industry and university and modify university curriculum.

Background and objectives: Health anxiety is identified with persistent and severe concerns about health. People with health anxiety have misconceptions and incorrect interpretations of health and excessive sensitivity to their physical symptoms. Its prevalence is high among people and as a result of its importance and necessity; health anxiety is one of the major concerns of clinicians, which makes Health anxiety Evaluation also very important. Material and Methods: In a study to determine the reliability and validity, the 18 questions, health anxiety inventory of Salkovskis and Warwick (2002) was administrated on 500 male and female students at the University of Khorramabad, selected using sampling. The reliability of the inventory was obtained using Cronbach's alpha method and its construct validity, using Exploratory Factor Analysis by SPSS. Results: The results show that the construct validity of this inventory consists of three factors: developing disease, its consequences, and total health concerns. In addition, Cronbach’s alpha factor of 0.75 shows the appropriate reliability of the inventory. Conclusion: The results suggest that Salkovskis and Warwick Health Anxiety Inventory is adequate to detect health anxiety among Iranian students, specially students of Khorramabad University and can be used in various research and treatment centers.

The purpose of this research is to determine the confirmatory factor analysis of the identification scale of gifted students. The statistical population consisted of Birjand fourth grade students in the academic year 1393-94 to the number of 3050 students that 401 students were selected by multistage cluster sampling method. the results showed that selected questions provided a good framework for measuring the studied dimensions and all of its components were approved.Raven intelligence test, Abedi creativity questionnaire and academic performance rating scale were used to measure criterion validity of the identification scale of gifted students. The results showed that there is a high significant correlation between different components of the identification scale of gifted students with intelligence and academic performance, in addition findings showed that there is significant correlation between the small scale sports and artistic with creativity, and there is not found significant correlation in other small scale with creativity. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to measure the reliability of the scale. The results showed that the scale has good reliability. In general, based on the results of this study can be concluded that the identification scale of gifted students has acceptable reliability and validity and it can be used to identify gifted students.
