This research was conducted using the meta-analysis method with the aim of synthesizing existing research on the relationship between identity styles and academic performance. The statistical population of the study included all relevant studies conducted in Iran from 1385-1400 and available in the databases of Jahad Daneshgahi, Nurmagz, and Magiran. After evaluating the criteria for entrances and layaway requirements research, the correlation effects of the research were analyzed by CMA software. Also, two models of random effect and fixed effect were calculated. According to the results of the heterogeneous analysis, the randomized model was selected through Q and squared I indices. The findings revealed that the size of the combined effect of the investigated research after the removal of 4 effects size was 0.107. The combined effect size of the research was calculated based on the mean Cohen’s index. The results of heterogeneous analysis revealed of the existence moderating variables in the research as well. The results of this meta-analysis of theoretical and empirical foundations are indicative of the relationship between identity style and academic performance variables. Given the results of this meta-analysis, it can be concluded that for academic performance to be successful, it is essential to address the identity style among university and school students.

This research is aimed at a meta-analysis of research on the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapies in reducing students' psychological problems. The statistical population is research that has relatively similar questions about the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapies and their method is either experimental or quasi-experimental. By reviewing the history, 28 articles were found. All of these articles were from 2011 to 2015. Of these, only 16 reported well-reported statistical results. The mean test p was selected for combining the test results and the Cohen effect size method was used to achieve the total effect value. The findings of the study indicated that the average size of d in the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapies in reducing students' psychological problems was 1.067. By converting the average d to z values in a normal distribution curve, the normal curve cover level was 0.86, which is relatively high. The significance level of the calculations was also 0.01 and the overall effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapies was confirmed in reducing students' psychological problems

Background: No epoch like the present era has been considered the danger of dissolution of the family center and its adverse effects, and in no epoch like this era has human beings ever had this danger and its adverse effects. The most complex relationship is the relationship between a husband and wife, so access to information in this area will be extremely difficult and in some circumstances impossible. Much research has been done to find the most important causes of divorce, but they have yielded different results. For this reason, the vacuum caused by the lack of methods for organizing, displaying, linking and ultimately integrating research is felt. Objectives: The present study aimed at combining quantitative results (meta-analysis) with research on the causes of personality and effective communication in divorce. Method: 36 studies were conducted through Internet search in internal databases and hand search in the Iranian Institute of Science and Technology between 1999 and 1395. Identification and information were analyzed through a comprehensive meta-analysis software (CMA2). Results: The combined effect index of r for personality variables in the fixed model is 0.042 and in the randomized model is 0.08 and for the communication variables in the fixed effects model is 0.034 and in the random effects model, 0.057 which according to Cohen’s criterion, the effect size, In both cases, it was low. However, in examining the size of the effect of separation of personality causes, the variables of doing the wrongdoing, and in the causes of the relationship between lack of attention and love, had a large effect and a positive relationship with the divorce. Due to heterogeneity in studies, modulator analysis was carried out.

Meta-analysis can provide comprehensive results and make future researchers needless to spend time and cost on duplicate research. The purpose of this study was to provide computer-assisted education on learners's academic performance. The statistical population consisted of studies that were available from 1390 to 1395 at home and from 2010 to 2016 abroad as a full-text article in internal and external databases. The checklist of the research designs was used to collect the information. In order to analyze the data, sensitivity analysis, Funnel analysis, fixed and random models and heterogeneity analysis using CMA software were used. Data analysis of the research showed that computer-assisted education has a positive effect on academic performance. Also, the effects of computer-assisted education on academic performance varies according to sampling methods, but there is no difference in gender. Regarding the results of meta-analysis, it can be said that using computer-assisted education is more effective in academic performance.

Understanding the psychological characteristics and factors and provoking the anxiety of death in today's living conditions, as well as its psychological events and consequences are among the topics discussed in psychology. Many researches have investigated the relationship between different psychological factors and death anxiety, but sometimes their results are inconsistent and contradictory and, on the other hand, explanatory variables have not been thoroughly investigated in this regard. Meta-analysis is a set of systematic techniques for solving contradictions in the findings of various researches on a subject. The present study was conducted to investigate the relationship between psychological factors and psychological factors and death anxiety in a meta-analysis method. At first, using all the internal databases as well as the universities of Tehran, we started to collect all the research reports. Finally, the results of 44 studies conducted between 2009 and 2011 that were the criterion for entering the meta-analysis were analyzed. The results of the meta-analysis showed that the size of the combined effect of the studies in the static effects model was 0.018 and in the randomized model -0.022, where the size of the combined effect in both models was low, but it was observed separately in the study of the effect size of the variables. The variables of irrational beliefs, control source, job burnout, cognitive fusion, self-actualization, self-determination, meaning, life expectancy and neuroticism are medium-sized. Therefore, it is concluded that knowledge of death plays an important role in various theories including fear management, existential therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Among them, the theory of fear management is a theoretical, leading and influential approach to death anxiety that can explain these variables.

The aim of the present research was the meta-analysis of the studies that investigate the link between job stress and organizational variables in Iranian research studies. Data collected from 78 studies conducted from 1993-2013 and was analyzed then the effect sizes of the relationship between stress job and organizational variables were computed. Findings revealed that the combined effect size for fixed model was 0.16 and for random model was 0.17, which both were small effect sizes (J. Cohen, 1997). Further meta-analysis showed that the interpersonal conflict, work-family conflict, organizational effectiveness variables had significant large positive effects size on job stress. We checked for Publication bias and heterogeneity of effects. the results showed no bias but due to heterogeneity of effects, demographic and methodological variables were examined .Findings revealed that sampling, kind of job, kind of studies and Measuring tools could moderate the relationship between job stress and organizational variables as the moderator effects. The overall results suggested that Organizational variables that lead to feelings of loss of control or social support or self-efficacy have a stronger relationship with job stress. This suggests that further investigation is needed.

Background: Meta-analysis is a strong approach, but sometimes leads to wrong and misleading answers. Objective: To conduct case studies of clinical trials and observed cases regarding factors that affect the credibility of meta-research, such as the effect size, the number of analyses, data scale, analyses’ flexibility, method of reporting, and conflict of interest. Research Method: The meta-analysis method was adopted in this research. A case study of corticosteroid therapy in acute bacterial meningitis was discussed in this paper. In addition, the meta-analysis progressed in a step-by-step manner with 6 researches out of 11 ones. Results: The results of the metaanalysis of acute bacterial meningitis indicated that numerous studies have been carried out under such a title in different places. Each author has identified reasons for the use of steroid treatment. Although their reasons were sometimes incomplete, it must be noted that their researches have some things in common.

Background: Nowadays, authorities give more attention to the creation of motivation in students in order to direct their activities and make them active. Despite the importance of this issue, contradictions are seen in the results of educational motivation researches. Objective: This study was aimed at reviewing researches conducted into factors affecting educational motivation and was carried out using meta-analysis method. Method: The population of the present study consisted of all researches on learning motivation recorded in SID, Magiran, and Irandoc databases from 1992 to 2012. A sample of 132 researches was chosen according to the criteria for inclusion in the study, and their data was recorded on the meta-analysis worksheet prepared by the researcher. Overall effect size calculation, Number of Partial Safety (Nfs) ^ Q-test were used for data analysis using CMA-2 software. Results: The results indicated that the following variables have the most effects in learning motivation respectively: learning strategies (ES=0/479), self-efficacy (ES= 0/405), self-esteem (ES= 0/384), selfregulation (ES=0/333), academic achievement (ES=0/329), test anxiety (ES^ -0/196) and gender (ES= 0/037). The analysis of the homogeneity of studies showed that the combined studies were heterogeneous in all variables. The analysis of the number of partial safety indicator also suggested that there was no publication bias among integrated studies in variables.

The purpose of this research was to combine the quantitative results of the researches related to the students' math performance. For this purpose, all studies which have been done in Iran from the year 1381 to 1388, were collected, using the quarterly and scientific-research articles. In general, 40 cases of them, had meta-analysis measuring features, in particular the effect size measuring feature. The Hodges’s method has been used for metaanalysis and the Cohen’s method has been used for interpreting the findings. The results indicated that there is a significant relationship between math performance and selfe-fficacy, self-regulation, motivation, goal orientation, learning strategies, teaching methods, cognitive styles, reading styles, gender, and perception of the class structure. Among the mentioned variables, self-efficacy was found to be the best predictor of students’ math performance due to its high level of variance.
