Aims: The main purpose of the present study was to investigate psychometric properties of the Cyber Aggression Questionnaire among Iranian adolescents. Method: The method of the present study was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the study included all adolescents aged 12 to 18 years old in Tabriz that 394 students (179 boys and 217 girls) were selected using stratified random sampling. After translating and obtaining the opinions of experts and subjects, the face validity of the questionnaire were confirmed. SPSS and AMOS software were used for statistical analysis. Results: The results of the confirmatory factor analysis, based AMOS software, showed that three-factor structure of the Impersonation, Visual-sexual Cyber-aggression and Verbal Cyber-aggression and Exclusion in the Iranian students sample had good fit with data. Correlational analyses between this Questionnaire with Bullying Scale provided initial evidence for the CYBA convergent validity (r = 0.72, P <0.001). Reliability of the questionnaire based on Cronbach's alpha method, mean of variance extracted and retested for the total scale and its dimensions was confirmed. Conclusion: In sum, these findings provide evidence for the validity and reliability of the CYBA as an instrument to measure cyber aggression among Iranian students. This scale can be used to measure cyber aggression in research and treatment departments.

The current study was conducted to investigate psychometric properties of the executive skills questionnaire-revised (ESQ-R) in Iran. We carried out a cross-sectional study following linguistic validation and pilot investigation. The forward-backward translation method was used to translate the questionnaire from English into Persian Prior to pilot testing. The participants consisted of 1337 male and female students studying in Iranian universities. For data analysis, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used. Additionally, internal consistency analyzed by test-retest and Cronbach’s alpha (Reliability). The coefficient alpha estimates of reliability were for the first factor (planning) 0.84, the second factor (time management) 0.78, the third factor (emotion regulation) 0.76, the fourth factor (organization) was 0.72 and the fifth factor (behavior regulation) was 0.70. The results of confirmatory factor analysis were in an acceptable range for the questionnaire. The findings demonstrated that ESQ-R has good psychometric properties to measure executive skills among Iranian students. Therefore, the questioner can be used in future in health or educational settings.

Sluggish Cognitive Tempo is used to describe a particular type of attention deficit, concentration, and slowness in information processing. The aim of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale (SCTS) of the parent form among Iranian children. The present study is a descriptive study. A sample of 1700 people was selected from the provinces of Tehran, East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Fars and Khorasan using cluster sampling method. 122 subjects were excluded from statistical analysis due to incomplete answers to the questionnaires and thus the final sample was reduced to 1578 parents. The confirmatory factor analysis method and internal consistency were used to compute the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale factorial validity and reliability, respectively. Also, in order to examine the construct validity of the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale, we computed correlations between different dimensions of Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale with Attention Deficit Subscale of Mental Health Assessment Questionnaire for Children and Adolescents. The results of statistical results showed that this scale has structural validity, criterion and convergence in Iranian society. The results indicate that the scale is three factors and also the validity of the scale using Cronbach's alpha method and retest test after Approved two weeks. According to the findings of the present study, the parent form of the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale (SCTS) has a good validity and reliability and it can be used in research related to slow cognitive multiplication in Iranian society.
