The present study aimed to construct a psychometric version of the Persian version of a health-oriented lifestyle behaviors questionnaire among a group of Iranian students. The present study was composed of two stages, in general. In the first stage, the researcher tried to identify the most commonly used behavioral models of students based on contemporary theories of motivation for academic achievement. With the aim of forming a bank of questions, the researcher, with the help of two specialists in educational psychology and Psychometric, developed the bank's initial version of questions that included various forms of behavioral models. Then, the researcher, using a deductive approach and with the help of detailed analysis techniques, selected the most appropriate items for each behavioral model. In the second stage, the researcher, by adopting a deductive approach while analyzing the structure of the developed tool, provided evidence in defense of the technical characteristics of the validity and reliability of the tool. The results of confirmatory factor analysis based on AMOS software showed that multidimensional structure of academic health facilitating behaviors including academic optimism, academic engagement, …, as well as multidimensional structure of disincentive behaviors such as learned helplessness, avoidance of seeking help, academic procrastination, …, and perfectionism with data were shown to fit well. In addition, the results of the common variance of the multiple forms of facilitating and preventing of educational health with emotions of academic achievement, academic self-efficacy and perceived academic stress showed that the health-oriented lifestyle questionnaire has constructive validity. The results of this research provided evidence in defense of theoretical logic of the health-oriented educational lifestyle questionnaire, and on the other hand, showed that this tool was used to measure the concept of behaviors of the health-oriented educational lifestyle among Iranian students are considered to be a valid and reliable instrument.

This study aimed at examining the causal relationship of variables with maximum impact on academic achievement of Tehran students. Methodology:The statistical population included all Tehran students. Using convenience sampling, 400 individuals were selected among them as the convenient sample in different fields. The research was carried out through path analysis method and research tools included Rotter's Locus of Control Test, Abedi test of creativity, Delavar's academic self-concept test, and Herman's Achievement Motivation Test. Research results indicated fitness of the model using data. All the variables had direct significant effects on academic achievement. The indirect effects of creativity on academic achievement were also significant. Academic motivation, creativity and academic self-concept and locus of control were of the factors effective in academic achievement. With the increase in Academic motivation, creativity and academic self-concept, academic achievement increases and internal Locus of Control lead to higher levels of academic achievement. Background: The achievement goal orientation theory is one of the most modem approaches in the motivational psychology. This theory is concerned with students’ motivation. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the validity and the reliability of the achievement goal questionnaire-revised (Elliot and Murayama, 2008) among the Iranian student population. This instrument was applied to the 2x2 framework assessment. Methods: The questionnaires were administrated to 609 Dezful high school students. The psychometric properties were determined based on the appropriate statistical methods. Results: The Alpha coefficients were estimated in the four subscales between 0.68 and 0.79. The results of the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis revealed that the structure of the questionnaire had an adequate fitting to the data and confirmed the model. Conclusion: According to the estimated psychometric properties, this instrument can be used by the researchers in order to assess the four achievement goal orientations among the student population.
