Construction and standardization of Quality of Marital Relationships (QMR) Scale based on Glasser’s Choice theory
Background:The seven deadly habits are all the basic behaviors of external control psychology that harm and destroy relationships and, in doing so, cause almost all the problems with which people struggle. Objective:The main purpose of this research was to construct and validate an instrument that operationalizes Glasser’s constructs of seven deadly habits in marriage.Method: The theoretical principles of the deadly habits in marriage based on the Choice theory perspective were studied first. Then, the researchers designed a questionnaire based on the framework resulted from studying the achieved resources. After studying the form and content validity of the raisedquestions in relation to each of the sub-scales and removing the inappropriate ones, 68 questions were performed for the final performance on a group composed of 250 married students (213 females and 37 males) of Allameh Tabataba’i University. To investigate the reliability, two methods of internal consistency (Cronbach's Alpha) and split-half were applied, and the validity was determined from three aspects of construct validity (factor analysis), concurrent validity and content validity. Results:A factor analysis, using the principal components analysis (direct oblimin rotation) resulted that determined 7 factors consisted of 58.989% of the total variance. The Cronbach’s alpha for the whole scale was 0.95 (first factor: 0.82, second factor: 0.76, third factor: 0.78, fourth factor: 0.83, fifth factor: 0.76, sixth factor: 0.82, and seventh factor: 0.71), and split-half reliability was 0.957. We assessed the concurrent validity of the “Quality of Marital Relationships” (QMR) Scale in relation to the “Four Horsemen” subscale of Sound Relationship House Scale (SRH), and the result was 0.567. Conclusion:It can be concluded that the “Quality of Marital Relationships” scale has a good reliability and validity, and is useful instrument to assess deadly habits in marital relationship based on the choice theory.

Aapplication of Rasch measurement model to evaluate measurement properties of the Test of Visual- Motor Skills-Revised
Construct validity of instruments, tests, and scales can be examined using the Rasch Measurement Model (RMM) during their initial construction and validation, or after they have been published. The aim of this study was to examine the construct validity of the Test of Visual-Motor Skills Revised (TVMS R) by applying the RMM to evaluate its scalability, dimensionality, differential item functioning, and hierarchical ordering. The participants included 400 children aged 5 to 12 years, recruited from six schools in the Melbourne metropolitan area, Victoria, Australia. Children completed the TVMS-R under the supervision of an occupational therapist. Overall, 39 out of 142 of the TVMS R scale scoring accuracy classification criteria items exhibited poor measurement properties. As nearly one-third of the scoring classification criteria items were found to be problematic, the TVMS R in its current form is not recommended for clinical use, as it is not consistent with the clinical demands expected of an instrument used to evaluate the visual motor integration skills of children

Psychometric properties of math efficacy beliefs using generalized partial credit model
Context: the math efficacy beliefs instrument was developed by Huinker, Enochs (1995). However, research review implied that there is conflicting results. Goal: current research was conducted to investigate psychometric properties of math efficacy beliefs using G-PCM, an item-response model for polytomous model, on teachers samples. Method: 332 Tabriz city elementary schools teachers were chosen randomly and the math efficacy beliefs was administrated them. Results: Alfa coefficients for two subscales of the instrument were .82 and 0.85 for outcome expectancy and efficacy beliefs respectively. In spite of acceptable classical results, generalized partial credit model results implied that the scale items had major problems. Results showed that all difficulty coefficients were negative, i.e simple items., and information functions only best in low-ability part. Discussion: given the importance of math efficacy beliefs, developing new and efficient instrument with good psychometric properties are advised.

تفکیک ابعاد متعامد از خوشههای سوال بر اساس هشت روش تعیین بعد در داده-های دو ارزشی: مورد آزمون ریاضی رشته ریاضی فیزیک کنکور 92-91٭
Background: Determining dimensions (factors) of tests has a significant importance for other testing purposes. The issue has more importance in binary data and is associated with greater challenges. Objectives: The object of present study is differentiating of orthogonal dimensions from item clusters basedcomparison of eight methods of determining dimensions of binary data. Methods: the methods are: DIMTEST nonparametric method, DETECT nonparametric method, Content analysis of items based on expert judgment and review their answers. Full information factor analysis, cluster analysis based on angle between item vectors, parallel analysis, MAP test and confirmatory factor analysis. First the methods are briefly described and then based on 55 items math test are compared. Results: The results are a confirmation to the subject that a distinction must be made between the number of clusters and orthogonal dimension. Conclusion: Since the number of clusters is an upper limit to the number of dimensions and most methods of determining of dimensions reflect clusters than orthogonal dimensions, then it is better Depending on the desired target, along with content and logical consideration, several methods be used for this purpose.
